Please help me out here! I'm dying to know these patches! Posted 25 June - AM a whammy pedal alters octaves and other things. The octave range seems to be too low, you said earlier that it is played with an effect of 2 Octaves above added whereas I can only get 1 Octave above. Besides this, I have no idea what else to do. Posted 25 June - AM i dont think you can shift it up to 2 octaves coz P6 is 1 octave and its only up to P9 and that effect just raises the pitch a whole step so i dont think you really cant do that.

A great patch for soloing and tapping. Fuzzy used by lit my worst enemy. In an interview Angus said that his brother plays with not much gain, but very loud with headphones. Gain 20 w Alice in Chains sound alike. Heavy, harmonic-laden distortion, effect fades after a few seconds.

The patch I used in my band. Use with a very powerful amp or head, to obtain the very best of it. Use low about 7, mid about 3 high abou Monster Magnet tune with a real cool jet flange at the beginning. Here it is well, close anyways. Heavy as hell damn close to the Hetfield God tone Nice smooth sounding distortion. Level doesn't really matter. I use this one to play most of my rhythms.
For my idol Nigel Hendroff of Hillsong Music Australia, here's a nice patch that is good for his solos and guitar riffs in their songs. It's almo effects, so have fun Great for "Wish" and "March of the Pigs". You can play any song from Nirvana with this effect. This sound almost like in original song.
This is my first new patch and it's so cool. You can play with it the Pearl Jam's song called Nothing as it seems from Binaural. It's also goo you like it. Intro from Metallica's 'Nothing Else Matters'. This is what I think would be the best effect for the clean part for Nothing Else Matters. Play it through a Peavy Bandit or it sounds like crap! If you like metal and want to record yourself directly, this patch for you. Very Sepultura, Metallica, Grip Inc. Sounds great on Drop D, or D the chorus or reverb. Instead record yourself again and put one guitar at each side. You' The same. My attempt to sound similar to the Smashing Pumpkins fuzz found on Siamese Dream era stuff.
Pitch shifted, cavernous recreation of Pink Floyd's "Time" intro. Simulates guitar tone of "Time" solo. Good with Strat bridge pickup. Very noisy distortion, perfect for solos and power chords. The delayed sound for "Pride" off of The Unforgettable Fire. Just get the band to play to tempo and you're laughing. Use through a mono signal sounds dull and drifty. Thick strings sound like drones, thin ones like a sitar - harmonics are plentiful and can be varied with attack. It's like Antimanisfesto live by Propagandhi.
Nice chorus shimmer for playing one of Prince's most famous tracks. Very crazy and heavy similar to the sound of Motorhead, Metallica, Soundgarden, and others.
Lots of feedback great if combined with lots of bass from the dirty channel on your amp. Sounds like the distortion Rammstein uses in a few of their songs such as "Du Hast". Sounds about like the first three Ramones records. This patch gets that screaming Randy Rhoads sound, great for solos. Tom Morello-like Distortion. Heavy but clean. This patch is like getting a haircut from a lawnmower! Its sharp edge will take your head clean off!
So cool if you use a Crate amp or a Marshall amp. Is a soft acoustic wah and the wah "wave" opens so slow when you play. Also you can this wah and the sound is a real monster for blues or jazz solos!!! Try this cool effect!!! I use it in "Jump Jive and Wail" for the clean. Great for slamming rock leads! Kind of like satriasi. You may want to use a noise gate.
Exact sound for the entire Roots album by Sepultura. Good distortion for most Rush songs with the obvious exception of their 80's stuff in which Alex Lifeson did next to nothing. You can cha Overture of Perfect for Metallica's Sanitarium. For the intro just turn off the distortion. Very metal-like Dark black metal. Needs lots of compression.
Joe Satriani distortion sound for "Cryin". Played thru a Fender Frontman treble 3 mid 3 bass 9 bridge pick up clean channel sounds just like satch live especially track 1 cd1 zoom setting for delay 28 More exact setting -in my personal opinion- to Satch's sound.

Sounds like a distortion used on the "Smoke on the Water" solo by Ritchie Blackmoore. Cool for "Smooth" by Santana. Smooth natural-sounding distortion. Smooth Violin sound. This is a real harsh and powerful distortion I run my guitar into an Alesis nano compressor, into my which I use mostly for distortion, into a digitech rp7 for volume control and rev effects.

It's basically just straight up chorus with a little bit of compression and som the settings to suit your style but this is almost perfect for me. A patch for the standard metal sound similar to Anthrax, Sepultura etc.

If you can master it then it can be a real advantage or awesome lick using scales. Try it, but be sure to time it right. This is great for the "Sweet Dreams" solo by Marilyn Manson. This is a good patch for any song on the new album. Easy Harmonics turn the volume on the guitar down to avoid feedback. A fun and effective simulation of a baseball stadium organ.

The part after the intro, also you can hear it in the backround of Unforgiven 2. Get rid of a little delay to make it sound JUST like it.
Standa It sounds like Exodus or early Testament. This is a very accurate patch for Pantera's "This Love" Almost like a metal zone, but with more guts. Turn bass , mid 0, tre on amp.

Heavy Thrash metal distortion good for Megadeth, Metallica and heavier stuff When I made this I first had the delay on d9 set to about 6 but when I switched power chords it would sound kinda weird so I put the trem 2 and did away with the delay this is good for fast rhythm but not too good for solos.
Sounds good as distortion for Tool. Crank the treble and mid up and put the bass between It's a simple patch, but it sounds good. But try it anyway! With highs only dogs can hear and lows that sound like a on cRAcK neighbors' attention. Just a pretty cool melody type sound.
