The feature was touted by Nvidia when it was first introduced in , and while it's confirmed to be a part of the next generation of consoles , you can already enjoy what this technology has to offer on PC.

While some have railed against RTX, calling it expensive and overrated, the fact of the matter is that raytracing and features like DLSS allow developers and artists to create even more beautiful games. With many games now beginning to take advantage of RTX graphics capabilities, we have revised our list to include 5 more titles that have followed suit. Are you ready for RTX, yet? Updated on December 29, by Matthew Mckeown: As prices have started to get a little bit more manageable, more games are diving into the RTX pool by providing players with the best graphics their money can buy.

Most modern games now are starting to become RTX compatible as this popular trend becomes the mainstream. Some are more demanding than others, so check your system settings before downloading, but with that in mind, here are the best games that come with RTX graphic options for maximum polygon prettiness. World of Warcraft has gone RTX, at least in part. The Shadowlands pack will include an option for raytraced shadow implementation, which can be enabled if you have an appropriate RTX card.

An option for raytraced shadows will be available in the Advanced Settings menu when the game is released. Once activated, sit back and enjoy the graphic goodness. This haunting action-adventure title involving an alien invasion, supernatural abilities, and mind-tripping visuals received great reviews, thanks mostly to its interesting gameplay mechanics. That being said, RTX ray-tracing took the visuals to incredible levels, with reflective liquid surfaces and realistic lighting helping to create a dazzling array of psychologically disturbing and quite attractive scenes.

It shows raytracing in its infancy, mind you, but it's a great place to start. When raytracing was announced for the classic FPS title Quake II, almost everyone knew that it would act as a tech demo for what the technology would be able to achieve.

That didn't make it any less welcome. In fact, Quake II has never looked better obviously than with gorgeous, realistic lighting tacked onto the base game. While the character models and textures are still as dated as ever, there's something fresh and invigorating about having RTX graphics thrown into the mix.

It's now the defacto standard way to play Quake II, besides modding the original game. Mind you, you'll need an RTX card to play even this game. Anything less will slow even the most powerful PC to a crawl. Ark is already a gorgeous game that sports one of the most believable, breathing world environments ever glimpsed in a video game. It's not perfect and it's loaded with graphical glitches , but it's hard to deny the impact most gamers get when they start out on the island for the first time, and turn to glimpse the sprawling vistas and canopied forests.

Since diehard Ark gamers pour hundreds of hours into the game and its several expansion packs , any graphical bump is a welcome one to make the time spent more enjoyable.

Released to great reviews, Mechwarrior V continues the tradition of the franchise by giving players the feeling of piloting an unstoppable mech through scores of enemy units and environments.

The game includes raytraced lighting which creates some of the most realistic visuals to hit a game yet. Dynamic lighting, shadows, and reflections not to mention heaps of explosions help add some sizzle to the carnage! The newly added feature brings a ton of detail enhancements to the visuals, and there also happens to be a bunch of puddles in-game, which always helps graphical fidelity. While the game received mixed reviews at best, it's impossible to ignore just how great Wolfenstein: Young Blood looks with RTX enabled.

The screenshots from the highly-anticipated Dying Light 2 look incredible, and there's so much hype surrounding the game it's impossible to ignore. The first Dying Light is highly touted by fans and critics alike, and while the sequel has yet to come out, it's safe to say it belongs on the top 10 list of games with RTX graphics.

It remains to be seen whether or not RTX will be available in Dying Light 2 at launch, but either way, it's confirmed and there's plenty of reason to be excited.

Ring Of Elysium is a fantastic battle royale, and the addition of RTX technology makes it even better. While Battle Royale games have typically been designed with more basic graphics that don't tax players' hardware or server connections to make the game more accessible, it's nice to see Ring Of Elysium buck this trend by having the option to enable raytracing.

As a free-to-play game, you have nothing to lose by checking out Ring Of Elysium , especially if you have an RTX graphics card. A post-apocalyptic wasteland has never looked this good. Just the second game ever to have launched with RTX support, Metro Exodus is familiar to anyone who's been watching this technology with a close eye. Metro Exodus also comes along with DLSS support, so if you have the hardware for it, you can rest assured that this will be one of the best games you've ever laid eyes on.

Sure, it might be one of the more dated titles on this list, but if you can run raytracing on your PC and you haven't checked out Metro Exodus , then it's safe to say you're missing out.

When Nvidia introduced their series of RTX cards, they used Battlefield V footage to show off their latest developments, so really it was the first game we got to see with raytracing. With epic cinematic moments, tremendous audio effects, and overall breathtaking experiences, RTX is a fantastic addition to the Battlefield franchise if you can run it.
