Windows 7 windows expand behind taskbar
I see the same sort of problem all the time. Grab the bottom of the window and move it up above the height of the taskbar Move your cursor to the bottom of the screen to re-display the taskbar Right-click on the taskbar again Select Properties Uncheck the box which says "Auto-hide the taskbar", then click Apply Right-click on the taskbar Check the box which says "Lock the taskbar" You're done!

When I was full screening a window the bottom would hide behind the taskbar. This fixed that in seconds. I have had a similar problem since windows 95 and nothing has ever been done to resolve it, the problem just gets transferred to the new OS. My task bar is up top always has been and a lot of programs ALWAYS start under it so I have to move the task bar, drag the program down then put the task bar back.
