Temporarily disable the Norton Antivirus program I request you to contact the Norton technical Support to temporarily disable the program and then check the status of this issue. I also have this problem. I have had this computer for 3 yrs. I took it to a tech who said he couldn't get the wifi to work without adding another adapter. It worked at his shop but not at my home. I went thru all the steps of setting up a wifi connection again and it keeps giving me an error message that says I need to turn on the wifi connection button on the front or side of my laptop but there is no button!! Can anyone out there please help me??????
